On TRANSDUCER, Rival Waves team up with Producer JR Taylor for a spirited collection of songs highlighted by amazing performances by members of Pearl Jam (Jack Irons), Porno For Pyros (Martyn Lenoble), Alanis Morrissette (Nick Lashley), Linkin Park (Scott Koziol), Nine Inch Nails (Teddy Kumpel), and Hans Zimmer Orchestra (Satnam Ramgotra).

TRANSDUCER also serves to establish a rock sonic template for the band. Songwriter/vocalist Joel De La Garza, brings fully fleshed-out songs into the studio, while allowing the energy and lyrically earnest themes, ranging from the extremely personal to the globally socio-political, of the songs to provide a punk and alternative slant.
